Purpose
This document provides instructions on how to download and merge data specifically when gaps appear in an online recording due to Bluetooth connection issues between the Nox A1s and the Nox C1 BLE dongle.
Scope
Products: Nox A1s, Nox C1
Version: All Noxturnal Versions
Important: This method only recovers and fills gaps in signals acquired and stored by the Nox A1s and transmitted via Bluetooth. It does not recover gaps in signals from external devices (e.g., Nonin oximeter) transmitted through the Nox C1 network connection.
Steps
Follow these guidelines to ensure the missing data is successfully retrieved and merged into your existing recording:
Important: This procedure must be performed before the Nox A1s is reconfigured for another patient to avoid overwriting locally stored data.
Plug the USB-C cable into the Nox A1s (located in the battery compartment).
Open Noxturnal and navigate to the Recording tab.
Click on Download Recording.
Click on Merge with existing recording.
This function retrieves and merges missing data stored locally on the Nox A1s into the existing recording.
Once the "Downloading Data" and "Analyzing" processes are complete, select Done.
Open the patient recording in the Library and verify that the missing Nox A1s data is filled in.
Resolution
In conclusion, the user has successfully retrieved missing Bluetooth-transmitted data from the Nox A1s and merged it into the existing study, ensuring a complete recording for analysis.
